You do. Even if you have those things here a few minutes outside can do you in, as well as the air conditioners don't seem to cool everything down as easily when it's 107 degress outside. You can't find relief in the local lakes and watering holes because it's so hot that the water temprature has heated up to the point where the bacteria and all sorts of lovely things are thriving. We had two deaths here last year because they went swimming when the water was to warm and those lovely bacteria entered their bodies and killed a 12 year old boy within two days. Yup, it's hot.

That's because there's low humidity. I was at Travis and it would be 113 and it seemed fine. Much cooler than 98 here, or whatever. 98 is representative. You get the picture.
