Default Welcome to hell or as close as you can get
All it would take is 6 months of below freezing and you'd thank your gods for the heat.

More older people retire to Arizona then Minnesota.

I remember the cold wind of winter, and instantly feel a little cooler.

It's not quite that hot here in Albuquerque yet, but it has been very humid the past week. It feels like someone has poured syrup over every inch of my skin.

I'm lucky to live in a city where it never gets hot.

Hell is Djibouti on the horn of Africa where temperatures exceed 100 degrees 9 months of the year and the highs in the summer exceed 120. Course they report in Celsius which makes it sound cooler. The natives have no cooling devices, which is why there aren't very many of them. Add to that the spiders, three species of which are bigger than a human head, and the snakes to include the black mamba, and nobody goes there by choice.

Well then may I say that we are indeed on t he road to Djibouti! We hit 107 at the official temprature takers and at the television station it hit 109 so I'd say we are definatly on the road Oh and I had a huge tarantula on the side of my house the size of a baseball so does that count

We have the heat + 70% humidity (sometimes 80%). Sounds like it's time to go jump in the ocean.

Baseball-size tarantulas are part of a clear step in the hellish direction.
Not if you have a decent pepper sauce to eat them in.

Yes Sloww! Thank you. I tried every way to spell it but couldn't get it. Yes, one of those. Their in our back yard and this morning coming home from breakfast we saw a wild turkey going across the road and when I went to the grocery store this afternoon, I'm guessing but it almost streach from one side to the other, 8 ft long snake that got hit in the road. Everything seems to be running from the heat here.

I hate snakes. I know, I know. All things have a purpose. Mine is to kill snakes.
