Welcome to hell or as close as you can get

All it would take is 6 months of below freezing and you'd thank your gods for the heat.

More older people retire to Arizona then Minnesota. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif

I remember the cold wind of winter, and instantly feel a little cooler.

Aafimoq 06-25-2009 07:44 PM

It's not quite that hot here in Albuquerque yet, but it has been very humid the past week. It feels like someone has poured syrup over every inch of my skin. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/frown.gif

Suck it up.

I'm lucky to live in a city where it never gets hot.

Hell is Djibouti on the horn of Africa where temperatures exceed 100 degrees 9 months of the year and the highs in the summer exceed 120. Course they report in Celsius which makes it sound cooler. The natives have no cooling devices, which is why there aren't very many of them. Add to that the spiders, three species of which are bigger than a human head, and the snakes to include the black mamba, and nobody goes there by choice. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...milies/eek.gif

Ever been to Grimsby?

We have the heat + 70% humidity (sometimes 80%). Sounds like it's time to go jump in the ocean.

Not if you have a decent pepper sauce to eat them in.

Yes Sloww! Thank you. I tried every way to spell it but couldn't get it. Yes, one of those. Their in our back yard and this morning coming home from breakfast we saw a wild turkey going across the road and when I went to the grocery store this afternoon, I'm guessing but it almost streach from one side to the other, 8 ft long snake that got hit in the road. Everything seems to be running from the heat here.

SoOW2LeA 06-29-2009 01:47 AM

I hate snakes. I know, I know. All things have a purpose. Mine is to kill snakes.
