So in past years, NBC has been airing only recordings of olympic events, citing time zone as an excuse. Now that it is in Canada, I really hope they will actually show live events. Hope and expectations are different, however. I am going to go ahead and make the prediction that NBC will only show the events that get the highest viewership, even if it means showing recordings while other live events are going on. Live events that generally get high viewership will just be a bonus to them.

they will show some live, but they will tape delay alot so they can show it in primetime when the sponsers pay even more. But it is the winter olympics...so prettymuch everything but figure skateing can be found on an alt
