Indiana is split between two time zones (EST and CST), and the EST polls have closed. As counting begins, Obama has a slight lead; the thing is, Obama's strength is largely in the CST part of IN, which includes Gary. If Obama takes EST IN, he's going to run away with the state, which would be the harbinger of a landslide.

Apparently Obama is ahead in Indiana exit polling, but after 2004 we know how much that is worth...

From www.fivethirtyeight.com:

Just looking at some of the places where we have results in so far. Obama is substantially outperforming Kerry -- which is what he needs to do to win the state, of course, but the differences are pretty substantial.

Steuben: Kerry 34%, Obama 42%
DeKalb: Kerry 31%, Obama 38%
Knox: Kerry 36%, Obama 54%
Marshall: Kerry 31%, Obama 50%

And CNN is spazzing out on Florida numbers, unless third parties have taken 18% of the vote. Hologram must've stolen it.

Exit polls:

North Carolina: Obama 51%, McCain 48%
Ohio: Obama 53%, McCain 45%
Georgia: McCain 50%, Obama 48%
Indiana: Obama 52%, McCain 46%
Virginia: Obama 54%, McCain 45%

For whatever they're worth...

McCain fails in his all-in attempt at Pennsylvania. Not good for the GOP.

However, Barack has yet to pick up a 2004 Bush state.
