I heard that on NPR on the way into work today and half way through the report I was thing maybe wrongful imprisonment, bribery, repression, whatever.

For American's who think our politics can't get any more shallow, you are very wrong.

Seen as an ally of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, Mr Samak's government has in recent weeks been rocked by demonstrations by the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), a business-led group whose actions effectively forced Mr Thaksin from office two years ago.

Should be the People's Alliance for Direct Democracy in Thailand (PADD THAI).
