Seriously, use LaTeX. It is far superior to Word Perfect or Word (Office) due to being able to do anything you want in it formatting wise and it not trying to do anything for you (it only does what you tell it to).

Additionally, it is free. There is just a small learning curve.

Kuci, you should say it this way. "Why the hell is anyone still using Wordperfect? I use...".
Don't complain about something without offering an alternative. Not just about Word, anything.
That's my fatherly advise for the day.

I use WordPerfect 9.0. It doesn't give me any problems. I'm saddened to hear that Corel has tried to emulate MS Word's do-everything-for-you ways.
