Ok then, who did it- wild speculation only please Either A. one of the Islamist elements (AQ, Taliban, or anti-Musharraf elements of the ISI) or B. Musharaf and pro-Musharaf elements of Pakistani security If the latter, a huge mistake. I dont think Musharaf will survive this. |

Sit back with your head it the sand some more?" was aimed at non-Pakistani muslims? WTF? You want, Algerians, to you know, go out in the street and protest the death of a pol theyve hardly heard of, in a country far away, to show theyre not aligned with the radical Islamists who may have been involved? Hint - one of the things that distinguishes moderate muslims, is that they are NOT pan-Islamist, and are NOT as focused on whats going on in other muslim countries. |

I don't get this seeming need for moderate Muslims to apologize for every act of terrorism committed by their extremist breathern.
If you are talking about condemning. Well, as far as I know, Gordon Brown hasn't even yet condemed the murder, so maybe he's sticking his head in the sand too (let us forget its only been a few hours since the news came out)? Though, if it makes you happy, Iran came out against it: [q=CNN.com]In Iran, Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said in a statement, "We hope the Pakistani government will identify and bring to justice those behind such a criminal act and restore tranquility to the country."
