I first read thread title as "what the global elite want to DO to your country, and expected to just see a map of Haiti when I clicked, this thread... but very good and informed interview nevertheless!

There is a federation. It is not "this country" though. It is a federation. A country is a body politic. A group of people banded together for their own benefit. The idea of anyone "owning" a country? It would be like someone "owning" the boy scouts.
