Ok, I come home from work yesterday at 7pm, nothing. I leave my house to go to work 8:30 am and as I'm pulling out of my driveway I see a tree in my front yard. My reaction is |

You live in New Mexico? Seriously though, Dibrom, what did/have you done? ![]() If the city repairs my driveway I'm keeping the tree. If not, I'll just cut it down. I don't think they're efficient enough to notice. |

What's even more amusing is that over here in the states there are laws, apply in all states I believe, that the sidewalk is your responsibility. So if the sidewalk in front of your home is icy regardless that its city property they will say its YOUR responbility and if someone slips and falls because you didn't shovel it they can sue you. Its really F'd up. Or your driveway too. Trespass on someone's property, injure yourself, and then sue. That's the way it is here as well, if it's not done within 48hours then the city will do it and you will be charged $35.

Nope, California. (within telescope range of Luthair) Lets see, you cant be in La Costa cause they dont have room for trees with those new homes being crap for lawns... Perhaps near the village? Harding street and so forth... They have room for trees. Hmmmm... A hunt! |
