Currently France spends more on its military than Germany. That gives it a large initial advantage. If the war is long, then Germany's large size and greater total wealth would tip the issue.

Danish (? - IIRC) Leo's on the Balkan during the 90ies - I think there was some post about it here, but I'm not sure which thread. Wasn't tank vs. tank combat though....

You should have posted a picture of the current version of the Leo 2 (which is the Leo 2A6).
It looks much cooler than the earlier versions without spaced armor (like the one you posted)
