How long have you played Yu-Gi-Oh, and how old are you?
 

I went to a tournament today to try and sell some of my cards which I haven't touched in years, and I noticed most people were over the age of 18. I even saw some people in their 40's and 50's. I find it quite weird for adults to be playing a trading card game (but that's just me, everyone has their own opinion).

So how old are you guys?

I've been buying cards since labyrinth of nightmare (about 2004), I only actually started playing a couple months ago, I'm 17.

From the start of the TCG, took a break after Labyrinth of Nightmare came out. Came back to the game when Magician's Force came out (I missed two sets), played on and off until Ancient Sanctuary. Got a little more serious after Soul of the Duelist and the first banlist. From then I continued to play until Light of Destruction, at which point how good your deck was was determined by how much money you had to spend.

At that point, I stopped playing IRL (switched solely to YVD). I kept up with the game until Duelist Revolution, took a break, came back a little after it had come out. Took another break and came back a while ago when I Dragunity caught my interest. Plus, this format is pretty decent.

Oh, right. I'm 22.

Technically I have been playing for like for 3 years, but I was on and off up until the Tele-DAD format.

Oh, I started during Magician's Force and went on hiatus for like 7 years. People in my middle school were playing(badly) and that piqued my interest.
I restarted in 2010.
I am 15.

I myself started playing the game after I started watching the anime, which was when it first came out, about halfway through duelist Kingdom, and while slightly adjusting my deck with each new format, I've played ever since. I'm 22.

9 years. Took a two year break from middle of 2008 to start of 2011 because my deck got stolen after winning regionals :/.
Im 16.

This is basically me, since I only play (YVD) when he does, but I'm 21.

I started playing when the anime came out.. idr when that was lol. Then i basically grew out of it for 2-3 years and i just started back up around last November.

And I'm 17.

Started in Metal Raiders, played until Flaming Eternity and stopped. Got back into it during Crimson Crisis-Ancient Prophecy, stopped, started again last week.

I'm 15

Started after the release of Pharoahs Servant and Tournament Pack season 2's release and have been occasionly playing and mostly collecting since 2003! I used to work at my locals and my former manager got me started with the Kaiba Deck and my friends there helped me to get almost everything from the 1st 4 packs and from there on I've done what I can (on a limited budget) to get what I can through trading and now online trade here on the forum since june of 2009!

Oh and I'm 33!

I started playing when LOB came out till 7th grade. (3 years) Then I started up this past summer. I'm 18.

I'm 19, I started around the time of Legend of Blue Eyes, like Red I didn't get serious about it until Soul of the Duelist, I really didn't play 'hardcore' until about 1-2 years ago when I got YVD and joined up here. It's been pretty fun.

i've been playing yugioh since 3rd grade and i am now an 18 yrs old senior in high school.us

I started during the release of Metal Raiders/Magic Ruler (somewhere in there).

From there I played off and on until the Summer of 06, which I quit, sadly JUST before my favorite archtype (Six Samurai) hit the market. I came back last year at the end of the format before last, and made Six Samurai. I have been playing ever since.

I am 18.

I'm 19, I played from like 03-05 or like 11/12 years old - 14 years old, quit and than started playing online only in like October of last year (2010, still feels weird to say last year) so it's mainly just something to do with free time, for free

I started playing just before IOC came out...so about 7.5 years now.

I am 46
