Funny thing I've come to learn about humans really. No matter how much physical pain they are in mental and emotional pain always hurt worse.

A rejected love, verbal abuse, etc...

Even war veterans who lost whole limbs in the line of duty are always talking about how much it has affected the lives of their families.

a sprained ankle or a headache that lasts 3-4 daysat a time

i get these headaches allthe time
Seriousllyy nothing is worse than a bad headache. You just feel completely helpless to stop the pain.

I hate headaches and that's probly my worst

So, what's the worst pain you've ever had to go through?

At the moment, I'm suffering through Swimmer's Ear, and I've never felt pain like it. My jaw is hard to open and hurts when I try, my ear is swollen and pounding, and I feel constant pain. Can barely get to sleep at night, and normally I get to sleep through tiring myself out
Doctor gave me eardrops for that. Solved that **** right up, I know it sucks.

Besides swimmers ear...worst pain was probably Food Poisonining. It seriously makes you want to die.

Nothing beats the pain of losing your best friend. I was in the middle of class when I was called down to the principles office. They told me I was going home. They wouldn't tell me why. When my parents came, I was curious and scared I did something terribly wrong. When I got home they handed me my friends Picture. I didn't understand at that time what happened. They told me. It's been over 10 years since this has happened. I still cry at night from the pain of that loss. Nothing can ever compare to the pain I constantly go through every day of my life. This is the main reason why I still play games. Me and him played them every day after school. I play these games to keep his memory alive in my heart. I cry every day just to remind myself of how lucky I truly am.

Know what hurts badly? Slamming the car door on your hand...

Tripping over a tennis ball and spraining your ankle and hitting your head on the pavement hurts too

It all depends on if you're talking emotional or physical pain. they can be entwined or entirely separate, and everywhere in-between.

physically, i'd say the worst pain i have felt was either falling off a large ledge while bailing on skateboard and landing with the board between my legs, basically "credit carding" me - or, an actual recent experience (recent as in 3 days ago), getting into a car accident, flipping 4 times into a ditch. my body is, needless to say, quite sore. which will lead me to one of my most emotionally painful experiences...

crawling out of a demolished Chevy Aveo, trying to find my girlfriend (the driver), who hadn't had her seatbelt on, only to find her trapped under the car.
between the shock, adrenaline and sheer fear of losing her, it was the hardest experience that i have had to deal with in my entire life. luckily, she doesn't even have a broken bone, and she is in intensive care until her muscle damage heals.

yep, rough stuff.

Adding to my first post on this thread, bowel impact x2.

Passing out from a migraine.
Finding out tat my girlfriend just died while getting raped. I still have nightmares about that.
Dying. Twice. yes, my heart stopped for three minutes before my best friend resuscitated me, and when I was born they lost me for about twenty seconds.

Has anyone else here died? And if you have, tell how many times.

Having an undiagnosed condition that causes my digestive system to cause me extreme amounts of pain on a regular basis.
Dislocating my knee twice, then dislocating my shoulder on the same day as one of the knee incidents.
Breaking my arm.

And much much angst in my personal life.

Hm let's see now, I actually have a couple to toss down

got my fingers caught in the van door, stepped on a rusty nail, got 2 cups of hot coffee poured on my back, got kicked in the nuts, got tapped in the nuts, had someone kick a soccer ball...into my nuts, broke my nose during a fight, clotheslined onto the football field...and finally, fell down a flight of stairs...

But I think the worst pain that I've had would be the stepping on a nail.

^ I also stepped on a nail, and didn't find it too bad.
rather than coffee spilled on my back, i had a cup of boiling soup poured on to my crotch when i only had pajama pants on. that, fellow males, is a damn painful experience.

The few days leading up to my tonsils needing to be removed.

And that's considering all the stupid injuries I've done to myself.

Running lists in no particular order
Heartbreak - from having someone I loved betray me.
Heartbreak - from having my favorite person in the world die in my arms.
Jacked up my foot and tore a bunch of tendons and ligaments, then having to work while recovering.
When I was in middle-school a high-schooler stabbed me in the liver for not accepting a ride home from him. (This one is easily the most physical pain I've ever felt.)
