Worst pain?

So, what's the worst pain you've ever had to go through?

At the moment, I'm suffering through Swimmer's Ear, and I've never felt pain like it. My jaw is hard to open and hurts when I try, my ear is swollen and pounding, and I feel constant pain. Can barely get to sleep at night, and normally I get to sleep through tiring myself out

twice

Well, once me and my mom were unloading a box containing our new entertainment center (we had to build it) and we got it out of the trunk, I was holding it with my hands under the box. My Mom then set it down while my hands were still under it. I had ~150 pounds drag my hand on pavement and they got wrecked up, couldn't use them for days.

I had 20 stomach ulcers at once.

It hurt badly to say the least.

walking on a newly broken leg hurts like hell when you get out of shock

omaculer 07-23-2011 06:58 AM

I'm prone to migraines so I know that sucks, I used to have to take medicine every day for them, I don't anymore, but the random ones are a *****.

Earaches suck, the ones that are the worse are external ear infections (See Swimmer's Ear) since there is very little to relieve the pressure. Just keep taking the antibiotic drops and it will get better in a couple days.

I had tooth get broken, almost cleanly in half and a nerve exposed. That hurt.

But the worst I had experienced was after a car accident we had a month or two ago and I had muscle bruises on my legs just below my knees, man, I wanted to cry every time I bumped them or had something on them. That actually stopped hurting only recently.

1. Dislocating my knee.
2. Hitting a tree at like 50 mph after it slipped on a patch of ice.
3. Getting kicked in the jaw by a 1,000 lbs steer.
4. Flipping a mini-van into a ditch.

I think that adds up.

Pretty much. I've cut my hand opened once while washing dishes, and I doubt that even comes close to comparison.

Over working myself during a workout at Tae-Kwon-Do, had to go to hospital because I couldn't breathe properly, heart was beating way too fast, my muscles were shaking, and that was the first serious workout I done in 6 months.

You have to give your body time before you can shift back into typical training sessions after a long break. I do karate at my uni and everyone is so unfit after the summer holidays because, let's face it, everyone's going out and celebrating Christmas and New Year, rather than working out, lol. The instructors know this and make the first few training sessions a little less demanding, but you should also know when you're pushing your body beyond its limits. After all, you can't train as well with a broken body.

Pretty much, I'd say getting rejected by the girl/boy you love a lot... It hurts.

Well normally you'd be correct, but my former instructor...kind of had a grudge against me 'cus my friend's dad's (whose also a friend of mine) just started a class in the same school (which is made up of smaller classes), and I said I'd help him out with training a few newbies (which is the type idea my former instructor hates), and I couldn't go to my regular class 'cus of school, money, transport etc, and so he decided to do a workout classs, and at the end, we did these races where you have to do different amounts of different excersises, and because i was a blackbelt, I should of been able to do 50 of each excersise (aswell sprinting from one end of the hall to the other), while everyone else only had to 10 of each excersise each race. If it was my choice though, I would done what everyone else was doing. And then at the end of all that, I'm crumpled on the floor, unable to breathe properly, heart beating too fast, muscle spasms each second, with my instructor standing in front of me, lecturing me about fitness.

On a side note, I just remembered another painful experiance, watching twilight with a friend.

having an ambulance go screaming down the street whilst I have an ear infection in both ears

Having a chunk of flesh taken out of my left knee in a bicycle accident as a kid with a permanent scar!

Falling out of a tree and landing on that same knee 4 years later!

Numerous ankle sprains!

A close friend of mine that was murdered by her crazed boyfriend that it's taken years to truly get over!

The distrust and hatred of most of the human race due to the evils that each and everyone of you are capable of given the right circumstances no matter what you try to say otherwise!

Burns to my fingers and right arm on different occasions!

Stitchs from a severe cut to my right hand at 3 years old with a permanent scar!

A permanent black left eye due to a punch to the face that with anymore force could have blinded me if I hadn't grabbed the person's arm in time!

No I haven't been through anything major or serious in my life! >.>
