tbh i think there is a case here to make the parents pay out cash to all the rescue people and all that that wasted six hours of their life looking for a little boy hidden in his own basement
they said something about this costing the state officials something like $48,000 on the news today also that's really smart having an EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT just sitting in your backyard with no fence or anything to keep your SMALL CHILDREN away from it. it's not just me that went 'derp' when they heard the full details about this mess for the first time, right |

Kid Supposedly flys off inside experimental balloon thingy that just happens to be in backyard! Dad curses a lot and it's bleeped out! Causes a major stir that gets rescue teams and the media all in a frenzy! Turns out the kid was hiding in the basement! The US is pissed for being screwed over by the news interrupting their regularly scheduled shlock for this nonsense!
 God I love CHAOS!

His parents allegedly met in acting school out in Hollywood, and used this as a publicity stunt in order to attempt landing a reality TV series. There was speculation that they had some of the media and emergency officials in on the stunt as well. (This all coming from one source, don't quote me on it unless its backed up someplace else)
People do anything for a little attention. |
