Default Cell phone numbers to be given to telemarketers
Under a recent change in the laws, your cell phone company can provide your number to telemarketers. Be

sure that they will because the telemarketers will pay well for them. And you get to pay the bill for the minutes

that are used by

them!

You can protect yourself by using your cell phone to

call the federal no call list and have your name put on the list. You have to call from the number you want blocked.

The number to call is 888-382-1222. You can also register on the web at:

Unfortunately, nobody will get

sued because the law has been changed to allow it. As the gentleman in the third row said, big business always wins.

Maybe not always but we lost this round. they can call us trying to pawn their crap off and we can pay the bill.

You'll notice how much noise was in the press as this law was quietly passed.

Um, none. The press is not

interested in creating controversy regarding the government or corporate powers. Four or five corporations own it

all, and the government supplies them with their product -- the news -- free of charge.

BTW, just because what

somebody does is legal doesn't exempt them from civil culpability, which is a different issue.

True enough. I should probably asked how far you thought it would get before getting squashed.
