Heck, I've been alone for more than a year now, and it annoys me to no end. yet, I turned off two enterprising girls during that time, and I failed to notice several more of them that were interested in me. Otherwise, we need to have more local Apolyton get togethers in which we can meet each other. I'm certain the straight white males will outnumber all other options combined, but it's worth a shot. At least we've got Civ to break the ice with. From there, who knows?

I've heard that it is possible to increase the chance of conceiving a boy by abstaining from sex for a period of weeks until the woman ovulates (there are kits now for detecting when a woman ovulates). The rationale behind this method is that Y chromosome containing sperm are supposedly faster but more fragile than X chromosome bearing sperm. By "saving up" the man increases the total amount of semen ejaculated. The fluid component of the semen nourish and protect the sperm reducing the loss of Y sperm which then use their advantage in speed to reach the ovum and WHAM! you gots yourself a little pitcher!
