Oh, and Japan, Korea, and USA for being greedy enough to want to host another WC so shortly after having hosted one.

USA commentator complaining about FIFA corruption :

http://rothkopf.foreignpolicy.com/po...utter_politics

This bit was funny though:
Quatar ... Located at a huge distance from most of the fans who might want to go? I'm not sure he's thought that bit through.

The dumbest part of Qatar is that it will be totally unenjoyable for fans.

That and I'm sure players will drop dead and there wont be any ****ing replay for flopping.

That would make it the most exciting World Cup in history!

Some player was shot dead in '94. I want to say he was a Columbian called Escobar, but it may just be a drugs connection in my brain. The US hosted one anyway, so it's not unexpected.

Are you correcting a typo, or making a point?

Is there a point to be made?

Anyway, the UK just doesn't have the same talents at bribery as Russia...corruption is a national talent of those...we could never have competed!
If only people would stop being so good at investigating corruption in the UK.

As long as I don't get to be the power-mad dictator grasping at straws to remain in power...
There were two of them doing this, to be fair.

I was implying that with my "Maggie?" comment, but I think it got misunderstood.

Ah, Serb. Good to see you.
Hi, buddy
Arshavin is finally starting to play well this season. This is good, as he's a player who can produce something out of nothing, when he can be bothered. Yeah, I've seen the game vs. Aston Villa
Was he ever accused of being lazy when he was at Zenit? Not sure about Zenit, but as for national team lately - yes.
