Visiting a friend
Well, two actually.. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.gif They graciously invited me to pay them a visit to their lovely home in the Adelaide hills before I leave Australia next week:
Some cyms, dends and zygos outdoors: http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMG_1538.jpg Phalies under lights: http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMG_1546.jpg Inside the greenhouse: Oncid hybrid: http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMG_1553.jpg http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMG_1554.jpg Sarcochilus: http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...IMG_1550-1.jpg http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMG_1555.jpg http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMG_1557.jpg Masdie: http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMG_1556.jpg And a splendid specimen of rossioglossum grande: http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMG_1558.jpg |

What fun friends!!
Great plants. Any pics with you in them? Always great for these holiday adventure threads. |
That´s really nice, I like the sarcochilus an the ´dry scrub´, have you been outside there?
Best regards, Gina |
Thanks http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif
Rick, nope. I was the photographer. lol. Gina, I've not been in the dry scrub forest areas as access without a car is difficult. Public transport doesn't go all the way into these relatively remote areas... In some places, native Aussie terrestrials can be seen in bloom during their flowering season, so some of the club members have reported. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif |
Love the Sarcos and the countryside. Your friends look like great, kind people.
