Kidnapping charges in these sort of cases is typically complete bullshit,

They will throw that at people who grab others, and move them from one room to another to immediately get the plea bargain guilty.

Surprised it wasn't plea bargained down to a domestic violence charge, the lawyer must've been low rent type.
