The DR with their 1 gold and 1 silver beat out all the other "2" medal nations like Moldova and Singapore (a town in Asia). Next up will be to try and win inclusion to the "3's" with the likes of Tunisia and Armenia. Honestly, I was very moved by the emotions of Felix Sanchez during the award ceremony. Great achievement.

And we can't forget to salute the Brit hosts who came through big time. 35 of their 65 medals came in events that you sit down at. Yep. Getting in done on their arse.
