How to peel a hard boiled egg
A few eggsamples. Have to try this some time...
This one made me LOL...(first comment) |
How to make hardboiled eggs come....
|
Very eggciting although I'm not sure what the biggy is with peeling an egg. I've seen people roll them to crack the shell.
Also, I don't think I'd really enjoy someone elses gobslobber on my eggs. Note to self.... you dont' eat eggs anyway you numbskull....but be wary of slimey ones. ok so now we need an asian pole dancer demonstrating how to peel an egg Bangkok style... or maybe not......it might be a bit eggestential |
Anytime I try the shell sticks like glue to the egg, going to add baking powder and see if thats the trick.
|
As long as the eggs are for yourself only. Wouldn't want someone honkin' on my egg salad sandwich...........
|
Cannot do this in commercial cooking,unhygienic.....
As glass says ,roll egg so middle cracks right around or do it with back of spoon ,and two halves come off. Some eggs stick badly while most dont. |
i use my truck to get the egg out of the shell ... back up pull forward ... done

I tried blowing my eggs this morning. Lol... Didn't work. I about blew my eardrums out, though.
My eggs are fresh. I read somewhere that the fresher the egg, the harder it is to shell. The longer they've been is cold storage, the easier they are to blow. I mean shell. |

I tried this morning on some free range organic eggs that are direct from the farm, and it worked out reasonably well with varying results. In one case I blew the egg apart right through the center, another some of the egg stuck to the shell while the rest came out fine. For sure better than peeling the entire situation by hand. |
LOL, please stop blowing eggs..... it just ain't right.

Ok +1 to the cooking method vid posted earlier.
Picked up some local grass fed organic free range eggs. Very fresh eggs. I added a bit of salt and baking soda to the water, brought the water to a boil, took them off the burner, set a timer for 15 mins, and left the cover on. Came back 15 mins later...peeled perfectly, no blowing. Cooked to perfection. Delicious. |
Oh yeah, I was gonna mention the baking soda too. Seems to help a lot. Good to know.
