An angry four-year-old boy shot his father dead after he refused to buy him a PlayStation.
The Saudi Arabian youngster, from the southern Jizan area, grabbed his father's pistol and gunned him down.
The child had reportedly asked his father to buy him a PlayStation and the shooting took place after the man returned home without the desired object.

As he was undressing, the man put the weapon down, which the child then grabbed and fired at him from close range, the Asharq newspaper reported.
The tragic incident will add fuel to the debate that playing violent video games makes youngsters aggressive and alters their perception of reality.

4 years old? My 5 year old niece doesn't even know what a playstation is. Sounds like bad parenting with a lack of control of their child. The kid (if the story is true) obviously had no respect for the parent and a lack of knowledge about the weapon, all the parent's responsibility.

This is terrible, in America (if a playstation or equivalent is not provided) they just fine the parents heavily or take the kids away.

Saudi Arabia? Seems like the kid shoulda stoned his father to death.

I wondered where that happened, didn't see anything on that. But regardless, it is 100% the parents fault. And I'm sure will still be used against guns if at all possible.

The parents are the ones fighting over the playstation in Amerika. Not having a playstation is considered abnormal in Amerika.

In the old days the kids in Saudi wanted a new camel ,now its a play station.......

Allowing a 4 yr old access to a loaded gun. Sounds like father of the year award material.

Of course they showed a picture of a white kid playing a video game instead of someone who looked like the kid who actually did it.

I think that's the better catch. Never underestimate the power of subliminal messages. "Now you evil white person, just emulate those darker-skinned peoples -- and while you're at it, breed with them too.

At 4 they get the violent video game. At 10 they plant IEDs. At 15 they want American Airlines jets. The culture has gotten demanding for fathers there.

Well the little guy prolly had alot of pent up anger dad had prolly killed the kids sisters for being girls.

I classify this as a self correcting defficency;

He sucked as a parent.

He is no longer a parent.

Problem solved.
