Yep, NOTHING gets a car clean like a clay bar, your paint is the cleanest it's been since it was first sprayed. What polish did you use afterwards? I prefer Zaino myself.

I probably should have posted this photo. I didn't do the tires as I was rather tired after spending so much time claying/waxing the car.

Yep it takes it out of you alright. Meguiar's is okay and looks good, but it wears off pretty quick. I use Zaino as apart from having one of the most blemish free reflective finishes, it's a synthetic polish so you can apply as many layers as you want. Plus it's also one of the most durable. It can last for 6 months. And for me that's exactly how I want it, polishing a car isn't on my list of fun things to do anymore.

I think that's something I would probably have to order. I've never seen it locally

I used Maguires because one, it gets great reviews and two it smells awesome like Bananas lol. Yeah I clayed my Saab last summer, couldn't believe the crap you get off and the shine once it was done was EPIC as my Car's BLACK... waxed it up and it looked like new again. Claying rules BUT christ almighty, it takes hours and hours and bores the pants of you. Worth it in the end though.

Use of a tar plus iron remover before hand will speed up claying as you will remove a fair bit of contamination that way. I use Bilt Hamber Medium clay, as its designed to be used with water as lube, no need to get anything more

ps, see you signed up to DW after all

I have the EXACT same wax and clay and also the scratch remover. Did you went to my shed and steal it?

I do use a micro fiber cloth to remove the wax. It's about 10x10" in size..
