The burning question on MY mind today...
Why is Hitler's birthday and marijuana smoke-out celebration on the same day?

Inquiring mind WANTS to know!

In the 60's and 70's, kids at San Rafael High School in California used to meet up and smoke at 4:20 pm near a statue by the school.

I think they were all Grateful Dead fans.

I really can't answer your question, at least not with total certainty. What I can do though is offer up some thoughts, some of them struck me seeing the B-day thread and the 4/20 thread earlier today.

How many people here and overall know or care that its Hitlers birthday?

How many people here and overall know or care that 4/20 has any meaning at all? I'd be willing to bet that more know about 4/20 and that ain't sayin' a whole of a lot, lol.

How many people here and overall knew or cared that yesterday was Patriots' Day? Too few IMVHO.

How many people here and overall knew or cared that yesterday was oven day? I never heard a word about it from anywhere except here.

There is no reason why Hitler's birthday and the marijuana smoke-out celebration are on the same day, it happened, plain and simple.

And to give a slight bit of weight to that I can 2cnd Sirgonzo's story
