So, my exWS has made my life a living hell since I booted him out in 2009. His constant legal harassment made it impossible for me to work. When I took a job as a caretaker he would show up unannounced and called DCFS on me saying I was leaving the kids home alone (15, & 7) so I had to quit my new job.

The kids and I were struggling on child support. I asked him for help with the kids at Christmas and he promptly took advantage of that, went after placement and won.

Even if I had money for a lawyer, I wouldn't put my kids through psych evaluations and GAL attorneys and putting them in a tug of war between us.

Also he doesnt have to pay child support anymore (my only source of income) and I get to 'work' with him with regards to visitation, which will never happen. I am not begging that narsisstic jerk to see my kids.

He has essentially left me childless, and in poverty. I didnt have enough money to buy toothpaste. So... I sold my car and am planning to move from the midwest to Florida and start a new life at 42.
