Part of that is that whites begin hating all of these people, and it succeeds in dividing and conquering the white societies. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Instead of directing 100% of one's anger at who is creating and enforcing these policies, they direct anger at the pawns of the game, rather than the king.
Exactly. The analogy I use is if a bunch of cowboys drove a herd of steers through my house I'd deliver justice to the cowboys(I would throw a bar-be-que though).

Actually the king is not so important either. All policy comes from the chess player. May not be that easy to see, if you are conditioned to see the entire universe as the chessboard, and beyond that you have a mysterious god like creature that may or may not influence the events on the board!

Yeah I thought about that lying in bed soon after. The king is still just a piece, but the game is over when he is taken out.
