Although this film isn't out until Friday in the UK, I managed to see it last night at a FREE preview.

TBH I didn't know much about the man, apart from the basics. The film was pretty good; it was quite long (2 hours 17 minutes), but the time passed pretty quickly.

I didn't even know about the film until Monday night.

By all accounts, he was a most unpleasant character - do you recommend watching it?

Has DeCaprio made a bad move in the last 10 years? I cant think of one.

My only concern is that critics say its a rather boring because the movie just marks off points in Hoover's life without being suspenseful.

I went to see it with my grandma, who knew quite a bit about him. She called a lot of the plot points before we even left for the movie, so I can only assume it was relatively factual. And directed by Clint Eastwood, who's style I really enjoy. I'd say its worth a watch if you're the kind of person who's curious about the man and who really likes a movie that takes a relaxed and calm pace, but otherwise I'd skip it or wait for the DVD.

Man!

So many oldies popping around lately. Good stuff!

Back to topic.

I'm looking forward to see this one!
