Just got back.......the dollar store should be now be called....."The Burglary Store".....at one time cotton swipes were 500 for $1.00 and then 400, 250, 150 and now? 80 for $1.00........lucky for me when I saw the change from 500 to 400 I bought all the packs that they had of the 500 ones.

The plastic containere were at one time 4 for $1.00 and then 3 and now only two.......and those that were 2 are now only 1........

At Wally's, Chinese food that last time was $1.98 is now $2.79..........chips from $2.98 to $3.89.......peanut butter from $4.50 to $6.45.............freaking smaller coffee containers now $11.55 (about 30 in storate of the bigger containers for about $5.60.)

Silver will have no choice but to go up in order to catch up with the food price.

I was just at one today too. They finally have cupcake liners again, 100/$1. They've been out a long time (6+ months).

Wanted a funnel, and when I picked it up discovered it had 3 nested together of varying size, so I thought that was a great bargain!

And of course, Valentine cards for school.

Those 3 funnels? at one time they were 5.......have two sets put away.

I use them to save on communication, however string had gone from 500 feet to 250 feet for twice the price.

Hey, be happy you have string! Can't find it anywhere of the stores I frequent. DID find some 'cotton twine' today, which appears to be close to string.

Be careful, it seeme that the string I found is directional. I can tell my son what to do but he says he can't hear me.
