I wonder , if you look at a map and population density's of both coasts, if the shtf, the east coast has a higher population that could surge out of the urban areas and city's, and flood into mountains of Kentucky. The Sierra Nevada's also, but they have more limited access. Montana would be good, but I bet the natives will lock out strangers. Same for maybe some parts of the Sierra Nevada's.

Imho, Kentucky and surrounding Appalachian mountain states would get the worst of it, very large surrounding population and greater access into them.

Yes, we finally located an authorized Generac maintainence/repair guy who was super nice and got the repair approved. He said it was a defect and the field coil will be replaced in the field and the job fully warrantied.
