F1 cars look cool on dirt tracks!

Good to see the F1 circus back in the USA. Lets hope for a well designed track.

Unlike Abu Dhabi the track has been well though out and designed first, then the facilities are added.

Should be a nice track.

Caught this on another Forum. Kind of pointless to run an F1 car on a non-prepped surface, you can see how squirrelly the car is in every shot.

But I get why they did it. Its an ad to drum up interested in F1 for the US.

Well they have to do something. Most americans don't seem to be interested in any kind of racing that doesn't take place on an oval or 1/4 mile. [no]

Thats because you aren't looking in the right places.

American LeMans Series
GrandAm Rolex Daytona seres
Sports Car Club of America (huge variety in here, something for everyone to race with)

For the cheaper guys, there is the 24 Hours of LeMons and the CHUMP car series, both based on $500 maximum for the rides.
