Sierra Nevada Torpedo

Another great beer, highly hopped but very very tasty.

BTW, did you guys know that hops is chemically similar to...estrogen? So when you're swilling that hoppy beer you're really.....

I really do like some local / regional Micro brews. The Northwest has some really great Micros When I lived in Portland.

Las Vegas actually had some really good ones. My favorite was a lil place Called the holy Cow, Big Dogs, the Brewery at the Main St. Station was great. Then of Course Gordon Biersch was excellent as well. Even the Brew at Ellis Island Brewery and Casino was pretty good

I'm Partial to Sam Adams also. I'm all stocked on Sam Adams Oktoberfest.. But all the seasonal Sams are great I think.

I like to drink beer every day. Keystone light doesn't give me a headache or upset stomach no matter how much I drink. Sometimes it makes me stagger and fall down. A thirty pack is only fifteen bucks so it's afordable. It's the best beer for me because it's cheap entertainment, tastes good to me and no hangovers.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/grin.gif
Maybe if it makes you stagger and fall down you shouldn't drink so much.

I smoke pot everyday but I keep my balance.

When it comes to beer, I'm a "swill" guy - I prefer the cheap, flavorless lagers. I've tasted some of the best, microbrews and rich, heavy IPA's, etc. but in general, I can only drink two or three of those before getting that "heavy, full, bloated" feeling. Something like Heineken, Coors, or Budweiser, on the otherhand, I can pound 'em until I'm happy - and still have room for dinner, sex, etc.! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/grin.gif

BTW, I absolutely DETEST light beers - haven't yet found one that's palatable! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/shocked.gif

Now, if I want to drink something for "flavor", give me a decent red wine or single malt Scotch over beer any day!

For cutting through dust and sweat on a hot summer day, nothing beats Coors Light. And I think Coors is the cleanest tasting of all the domestic lager beers; definitely a summer favorite. (And did you know that Coors Brewing Company makes Blue Moon?)
I just spent the entire afternoon planting the fall/winter garden with two friends, and let me tell you . . . Coors Light hits the spot!

No, I did not know that Blue Moon was made by Coors Brewing Company. Thanks!

Most of the time I'm strictly a Budweiser kinda guy but over the last 5 months have been doing some homebrewing when I go to West Virginia. Excellent flavor and it packs one helluva punch! The average cost per case is around $5-6 bucks!! This is a must learn skill for the preppers that like to party http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/grin.gif

I also find Coors Light perfect on a hot day.
Newcastle or AmberBock are my delicious goto beers with food.
German Spaten beers, when I’m ready for a real beer… Optimator and especially Oktoberfest… yumm! Available at Publix too.

The guys that were helping me with the garden were dreaming up a crazy way for us to grow hops at my house . . . something to do with the flag pole and lines going across the entire front yard. Maybe I'll let 'em do it. It would be cool to brew beer, and have my own hops for it!

Gideleb 11-05-2011 10:34 PM

My eclectic side likes Fischers Bitter D'Alsace, french brew.

I think the best beer in the world is the one in my glass, the second best beer in the world is the one in my fridge. I really like MY BEER!
