I expect MS will add some features that are only available to windows users, which will annoy a lot of people and allow google to overtake skype

Actually it's going to be Microsoft Live Voice Chat or Voice Chat for Windows Live….whatever the name it's gonna suck nevertheless.

I can't see MS doing anything drastic to the name Skype... it's to ingrained in peoples minds. Could be interesting to see some integration with other MS programs, Windows Phone 7 (or whatever its called) or facebook though.

I doubt they will change much in the way of Skype either except a slight branding change: Skype Live! and integrate it into Windows Live apps.

Well as long as they don't incorporate it into Windows Live Essentials, taking 20 minutes plus to install Skype doesn't sound like fun.
