Ron Paul doesn't know what he's up against

Sadly, I find this to be a realistic and reasonable assessment.

Most people either do not know anything about RP or say 'who?' The MSM is the killer on this, anyone that has any clue knows we only have 1 choice, unfortunatly we are the minority.

SingleMan 09-28-2011 09:09 PM

You're right MR, that assessment sums it up prety well, but we can't count him out, spreading his hopefully will wake up mre people by election time. Now regarding the title of this thread also concerns me. Because like some of you have noted, if elected, a lot of elite will be pissed, so how much will he be able to accomplish before they plot a JFK event on him? But at the same time TPTB need to understand we will not just mourn, but will have to deal w/ a revolution on their hands.

Yeah, it's big deal for the moneychangers, and their mercs eat babies for breakfast.

I disagree with the writers assessment, because Ron Paul has always stated that although he has goals they can't be accomplished in one step. He has said we are stuck with the Fed, but if we create competing currencies we can let the market take out the Fed.

Ron Paul will allow free markets to compete with our bloated bureaucracy and let the citizens sort it out.

This hit piece looks to me like if a full frontal assault won't work we'll try the backdoor we really like the guy, BUT?

VXHLrsO1 09-28-2011 11:11 PM

Although I think RP has a snowball's chance in hell to get the Repub nomination, I read this as a hit piece.

I really cannot argue with the author's idea that "change" is not welcome to the masses. He is on the spot there.

The piece seemed to be more focused to get the hopes down of RP supporters or would be supporters.

I couldn't find much on the author himself. I was trying to find out who he was connected with.

forexsoft 09-29-2011 12:15 AM

You all would be shocked as to who sent me that article.

RP? JC? Ponce?

I must kept the confidence due to the individual's position, let's just say it's from someone who is 'in the loop', i.e. knows the major players and they know him/her. And this individual shares my perspective on the matter due to what they're exposed to.

And who's 'JC'? Jimmy Carter? Jesus Christ? The spirit of Johnny Cash?

I was going with with your second guess, but the 3rd works for me too.

I am hoping... really hoping this guy is as smart as I hope he is. He will not come out in a tank waving his hat but he may be saving all the BS crap MSM will use against him in a later time.

All he needs is a nomination and he will take the crown. He played in 2008 he has a good idea what is there. You think he will color his hair and get a suit that fits right now? The Red Necks just are starting to hear about him, he needs support not hair and suits, not now at least...

In the past who has come from nowhere, put on a production and won? Couldn't have been some negro from the south right?

Guess who that was (and in our living history).

Guess south is not right, lets try more North.

Yb4bulVR 09-29-2011 12:46 AM

Just the fact that they are now talking about this shows how far he has already come.

forexsoft 09-29-2011 12:50 AM

As things continue to get worse I think more people will be open to hearing what Dr. Paul has to say.

And that's really the tangible value to Ron Paul - whether he makes the nominee or not, he is succeeding at getting the message out. In a way that's bigger than he is. RP has several things I like - he appears to be humble, honest, and genuinely oriented to serve the public's best interests.

A little enthusiasm for his 2012 run is not a sign of false hopes. On the contrary, I am starting to see Ron Paul bumper stickers in San Francisco! I think a lot of people underestimate the crossover he has with Americans and his message is resonating. What that results in is yet to be seen.

heltduell 09-29-2011 01:49 AM

I've lost faith that my vote counts. Of course your vote doesn't count. Individual votes haven't counted since universal suffrage was instituted (and voting was extended to those who don't own/hold property). What DOES count is influencing public opinion.

mirex 09-29-2011 01:54 PM

Here's the 64T question in my mind...When does RP take the gloves off? When does he decide he has nothing left to lose and the nomination to gain and calls the system out for what it is? When does he stand on that stage, look around and point out that the rest are establishment status quo offering nothing but more of the same? When does he lay it on the line of just how screwed this country is and how close we are to financial ruin and losing our republic?

Maybe I'm just wishful thinking?

levitratestimon 09-29-2011 02:20 PM

i guess a focus group of 1 doesn't really count, but this is the first year i've really noticed Ron Paul & decided he is who i would vote for, including registering as a Repug if necessary, to vote in the primary.

i think Ron Paul has a real good idea of what he's up against - he's about 75 and it's not like he's been living in a cave.

i wonder if RP will decline SS protection and get his own team of bodyguards. he needs it. it wouldn't hurt to have a body double too.

i think if RP gets the nomination, Israel will go ape-shit. they will try to start another war while they have Obama in office to support it with fresh Gentile bodies.
