Default Tigsnort's confession
I created the account "Ebbetts". Yes, Ebbetts is me. My plan involved deep cover. Ingratiate myself with the Conservative Illuminati on the board..you know, all the "beautiful" people with the big, powerful point scores. "The friends of Idnew", I called them.

It began well enough. After I began posting as the morbidly obese right winger, I began getting positive votes, with encouraging comments such as "Just jump right in and give those liberals hell". The plan was to build up a giant point score. Then when the Illuminati were least expecting it, I would go on a negative voting spree that would make the St. Valentine's Day massacre look like a game of Duck Duck Goose Goose. Bring 'em all down at once, while voting all my liberal compatriots up, effectively transferring power away from the corrupt and into to hands of those who deserved it. It was to be a coup of epic proportions. I knew the risk. I also knew I would be found out eventually, but I didn't care. I wanted to go down in flames while doing something for the greater good. Some call me a martyr...but all I really wanted was cold, sweet justice.

But now my cover has been blown (this thread, post #5). It was blown by--of all people--"MetalRipper666". Little head-banging wanna-be Satanic rock and roller. Son of Beavis. Or maybe Butthead. Take your pick. How did this little runt newbie know about Ebbetts? Obviously someone on the inside passed him the information. Someone with access to everyone's IP numbers. Someone who for some reason considered the info important enough to pass along to whiny little runt boy, but not important enough to pass along to me. Why? Who could this be? And what other secret information is being passed around to other "friends" of those on the inside?

This place is looking less like a message board and more like a slaughter house. And I feel like if I stay around here any longer I'll be chicken fried steak on somebody's dinner plate before too long. It's not pretty. Politics aren't pretty. Chicken fried steak? Not pretty, but tasty. Why does this matter? I don't know. I just need to lick my wounds. Something my cat taught me.

it wasn't that hard to figure out tig.. and the child created a few names herself.. ebbets wasn't the only name u created, anyone with a ip sniffer can find out who the 'newbies' are..

it's especially easier to note who is a bonafide newbie and who isn't by their profiles.. or lack thereof.. the least u could do is make something up to try and throw off who u are.. ur so transparent.

u'd post as 'urself', then log out and log in as ebbets or one of ur other 'new' names.. and start posting.. doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who is logged in and who isn't.. laffin..

so cry in ur milk.. u were caught a long time ago, the rest of us were just playing with you to see what shenanigans u were going to pull..

Yup...

You've further hardened my opinions of liberals. If they can't do it righteously, they'll lie, cheat and steal everytime.

...and to think I thought that you could be trusted.

Oh the HUMANITY...

I'll never, ever, be the same...

This may just drive me to drinking....

How can I ever trust anybody again??

[back-of-wrist to forehead] I..I just feel so...so...VIOLATED!! [/back-of-wrist to forehead]

...oh well..."Tomorrow IS another day...

ain't no big thang. To be expected from a lib anyway.

Poor Tigger.. How can he ever call Bush a liar again? Don't worry Tigger we expected liberals to cheat. I just have to wonder how Dip is going to defend your actions in this underhanded & sorted escapade...

BD do you have VD and know DB...

Tig... I, (for one) commend you.

It was a good prank.

Stuff like this is why I like it around here...

C'mon, admit it. You guys wanted me to be real.

Look at me. I could be your next door neighbor. Talkin' guns under the birdfeeder hanging just above the cedar fence dividing our backyards. Havin' a few beers and watching football on the big HDTV. Me coming over while you're on vacation, and stealing your wife's underwear.

Goodbye...I'm melllting...

Me, defend people's actions? When there's serious board abuse going on? I don't think so....

Tig, you're a very very naughty boy. Go to your room!

You did a pretty good job most of the time, Tig. Occasionally you were a bit too dumb even for a bonehead conservative, but 9/10.

Shame about the negative feedbacks you earned me for responding to your dumbisms (thanks!), but I guess that's another tribute to your effectiveness...

Awwww.. Isn't this cute.. The libs are sooooo forgiving when it is one of their own..

Frankly I find it underhanded, upsetting, disgusting and just plain wrong..

( By the way that is Tig's picture. He's as ugle as road kill on a very hot day.. )

OH I thought it quite funny how he was trying to be "one" of us. I was just going to let you bury yourself a little deeper before I exposed you. Now I will just merge Ebbetts with your real name unless you want to continue using Ebbetts then I can merge Tig to Ebbetts. How long have you had this split personality? Since you were so big about owning up to it I'll give you a ^5 (no points though) and we will see if Zen confesses to being "hinkypink". Did you two concoct this master plan together?

The thing I found odd is that "newbies" don't normally just jump in on a political thread. They normally introduce themselves first.

Funny DB and ya'll are playing hell with the real membership on here.

i think u should up the post count to 100 before a newbie can give rep pts.. that should discourage the little children on here with nothing better to do than play games instead of having legitimate discussions.

As I wrote Idnew some weeks ago-- I think this "reputation" B.S. is possibly the most toxic and divisive thing that could be contrived on a forum board.

Too much emphasis on "green knobs" and "rep points", IMO.

...which mean nothing in the end... although since the initiation of the "judged by your peers" scheme, there have been some rather notable absences... and I'm certainly thankful for that.

Oh, I play the game, but I also think they ought to trashcan this stupid "feature".

This game just isn't as much fun as it used to be.

I think it would be fine if everybody started out with equal points, but that's not the case here.

i too agree with sin. the only reason i started this "war" between tig and the rest of the board is b/c of the pissy little underhanded tactics he used to get ahead.

it was all a matter of principle, so please, take off the point system. i wish to go back to bashing libs as a whole, not just one.
