Default Irony
In one currently active thread people are arguing for torture, and in another the same people are arguing for putting Christ back in Christmas.

Thoughts?*

*by thoughts I mean actual thoughts, not images saying "libbrals are gay"

Can you be for Jesus and for torture? If so, explain.

Idnew,

I don't recall Jesus saying that you should do unto others as they do unto you.

That would be the Old Testament.

Yeah, hilarious... Personally I think a lot of w1che's posts are gayer than Big Al's Big Gay Boat Ride. But I digress. I've just realised that I can block all of w1che's graphics at once, with a little filter in the Firefox extension AdblockPlus. I warmly recommend it to all Firefox forum users! Save your eyeballs, and your bandwidth too! And possibly your sanity, if you have any left! Any technical difficulties, feel free to PM me for help!

You'd be hard pressed to find a religion that doesn't teach the Golden Rule, notwithstanding all the instances ouside religion that pass that message on.

Mrs Doasyouwouldbedoneby, anyone?

If Jesus taught that you should treat others as you would like to be treated yourself, it's worth questioning whether Jesus wanted to be crucified. Would He have been forgotten had He lived to old age? No Crucifixion means no Resurrection, and look how important the Resurrection is in Christianity. Do unto others...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Now that's funny...

It does show that talking religion with people that have no desire to learn and no idea what they are talking about is a big waste of time however..

Blocking my graphics.. Now that's cute... Little Liberal Kid.. Mommy that mean guy is upsetting me with his pictures & stuff... Mom... Well son being braindead like you are I know how upsetting the truth is to you so we will just use Foxfire to block all that mean stuff.. Now stop peeing in your pants & take your Meds...

Lets don't get into discusssing the Bible again as we have a thread about that if anyone would like to go back to it.

Dip you can take that question to the Bible thread, but just to briefly answer it. Jesus knew he would be crucified.

Christmas should be a time peace and happiness for all even if you don't believe in Santa Clause.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
