I am shocked. Seriously. Now this is big! Got a source for this? Like, a TV show maybe?

Apparently the RNLI operates in Eire. Who'd have thought that?

Learnt that from watching Coast.

then why post?

using deductive and logical reasoning you can determine that rnli is an organization that is located in eire and the coast is a television program (or some other source of news).

bye.

RNLI=Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Eire=Republic of Ireland (I thought everyone knew that)

Coast = TV programme about the (mainly UK) coast (obviously)

In the Britian when people say "Eire" they generally mean the Republic

I just looked it up and "Eire" is official name of the Republic, along with "Ireland".

You post the stuff like everyone knows what you're on about.
Also no no-one outside the UK/ireland knows what EIRE is and nobody watches the coast.
Oh and lifeboat association? LMAO!!!!

That's the name of the country, that's hardly my fault.
and nobody watches the coast. The fact that I said I watched it, surely common sense would tell you it was a TV programme?
Oh and lifeboat association? LMAO!!!! What's funny about that?

Edit: And it's not an association it's in institution.

I think you need to be in an institution.

Sometimes I think you're like OHP, only with better grammar and spelling capabilities. Ya know, taking the piss all the time.

Many people post as if the topic is known by everyone, no doubt you've also done it.
Many people outside the UK/Ireland are well aware of what EIRE is.
What's so funny about a "lifeboat" institute? In America it's part of the coastguard service, rather than an independent service.

LMAO!!!!! at your ignorance [thumbup]

Many also don't use a generic title for a subject the majority on this forum don't know/care about.

I did,I had no idea about the rest of his post, but really EIRE isn't really that obscure.

I'm sure lots of people outside of the UK know what it is.

To what are you referring?
If it's his title to the thread, some of yours have been classics - to be fair, many are also very good and clear!

That it's very unlikely anyone that isn't from the United Kingdom will have heard of. Honestly Bungle, you make Americans who think they are the only country on the planet look good!
