A few weeks ago I was going to do a Steam giveaway, in an attempt give something back, and to help increase posting and general good will around the forums. I was not sure if the idea would go over well, or how I would approach it. After reading the two threads made by Acupuncture, I've decided to go for it. I like his rules, and I am going to do a bit of copy and past. I have sent him a message, and he is cool with me setting up another contest running along with his. I am going to change a few things though... [yes]

This contest is for a $50 Steam gift, you can pick one game, or five games, as long as the total is $50 or less.

1. Contestants must pick a number between 1 and 1000. The closest to the number WITHOUT GOING OVER is the winner. I am going to send a message to Acupuncture with the winning number. I must receive AT LEAST 100 individual entries by the end of the contest. If this requirement is not met, the contest will end without a winner.

2. Contestants can be from any part of the world.

3. I would like each contestant to have been a member of the forum for AT LEAST 1 year, and have made over 100 posts.

4. You must receive zero (0) infraction points from the time this thread is posted, till the end of the contest. In order to win, I will require a PM from a forum administrator confirming that. Existing points do not count! If the winner receives infraction points, the contest will not be restarted. Posts that were made prior to the start of this thread, but receive infractions after the start are not considered. This only applies to posts made within that time frame!

5. You can't sell Steam games, so HA! No profit.

6. You will have 24 hours to claim your prize. Think about the game(s) you want before you enter!

7. The contest will end on SUNDAY, APRIL 25th at 11:59PM EST.

8. If I own the game, or one of the games, I expect at least one hour of multiplayer from the winner.
