Notwithstanding, we have made our dossier available to the relevant authority, and expect a cheque from The Daily Mail's indignant moral outrage desk by return of post. ® |

Why would you pay £500 to see Barbara Streisand?
 Why, why, why? Do people really believe that she is some sort of living legend?Tickets for The Police were also expensive. I was even more annoyed when I got to the checkout at TicketMaster.co.uk and was asked would I like to buy a 1 years membership to The Police fanclub for news, photos and interviews from behind the scenes for the low price of something like £50. I closed the browser window and uttered something under my breath. I'm just going to go sit by Cardiff Castle and listen to the noise spilling out from the Millennium Stadium. [thumbup] |

She's the bastion of eternal music mediocrity, along with Cher. I could imagine someone wanting to pay £500 if it was going to be a low key intimate event for someone like Paul McCartney or David Bowie in a 200 seater hall, but just imagining that there will be thousands present all knowing they paid £500 to see Streisand warble out some tunes....
