Here in the USA today, the NY-metro area, northern NJ were having some heavy rains and high-wind, and thankfully the temperature is keeping up or this could have really been a blizzard with a foot or two of the white stuff! Going west towards Pennsylvania, it appears to have gotten some snow in parts.

wow, the world is freezing
![]() Here in Honduras we don´t normally get cold days are we are a tropical country, but dang, it have been cold for two weeks now and the forecast is showing it will only get colder. Our normal temperature is 34ºC, but now we are in the 20ºs all day and in the night coming down to 18ºC. Not as cold as you guys but is a big difference for us. ![]() |

Apparently, the temperature in the Scottish Higlands last night dropped to -22ºC, which was only 2ºC warmer than it was in the South Pole.
![]() It's usually about -8 or -9ºC in Yorkshire overnight, which is warmer than most places in the UK, I think. I drove one of the cars for the first time today. Wasn't too bad. The councils have finally got their act together and have gritted and ploughed the roads. |
