I have the opposite problem, Safari "unexpectedly quits" at least twice a day, whereas Firefox has only crashed when I've visited Red Bull Racing's website, another odd one that I can't remember.
Safari also seems to hog a lot of my system memory compared to Firefox, and it is one of the few programs that causes my fans to rev up - I didn't know that Apple made fighter jets!

world's best? lol no. firefox is better and I use that on the macs at uni rather than safari lol, no one uses safari on the imacs at uni.

used safari for 10 minutes.. no way, i'll stick with firefox.
lol, "want to save a bookmark? one click".. wow like it takes firefox more clicks..

in my school they took off safari in favor of firefox. safari was so bland and uninteresting. and rather slow.

The thing is, Firefox isn't that good on Macs (from my experience, at least). BUt it does have some features I wish Safari did (forcing new links to open in new tabs and saving sessions in case Safari crashes, two things I like more about FireFox.

At least personally, Firefox on macs is absolute crap, especially with the latest version, which seems to crash every 10 minutes or so (and without warning, which might explain the inclusion of the automatic page recovery thing) And I don't necessarily think its a case of one browser being better than another (in the case of Firefox and Safari, since IE is garbage compared to either of them), but rather the features that each offers.

Firefox sessions were designed for Windows. Firefox itself is meant for Windows. I wouldn't bother to much on the Mac. Several problems I heard. Something about memory leaks which is compared to Linux. Factory browser works flawlessly.
