Assuming your project is due soon, you might put off fixing it until later, spend the time finish the project. Save it to your email or on a disk, take it to your school lab, or your local Kinkos [FedEx Kinkos] ...problem solved!!
While at it, printers are so inexpensive you might well just get a new one. I would suggest an Epson for Christmas Never had any problems on my end

Go to Kinkos
Also, your school must have a library where you can print stuff. Put it on a CD and print it out there.

HP printers do this sort of sh**, 2 years ago i threw an HP across my room in utter disgust.
Remove the cartridges, look for jammings along the belts and rails, put them back in and hope for the best.

Ah. I love my Canon Pixima. Double-sided printing is awesome.

hehe... I'm with Knicks on Epson.

Naga, that goes for HP products in general, and their customer service SUCKS worse than their products. I've spent too many hours dealing with HP alone in my life to ever want to use them again

Thanx guys, I was this close in buying an HP 4in1 printer for Xmas.
I own a HP laserjet 2200DN, very expensive and lasted about a year. I thought it was just me with these kind of problems.
I heard a lot of good things from Epson.

I've got a HP PSC 2179 all in one, never caused trouble in 18 months. I would agree that Epson is the way to go, we've got two, however Epson drivers for OS X are crap.
Had a Cannon BJC4000 a few years ago, it had a free 3 year warranty - and broke down a month after it expired!

My parents bought a new black and white HP laser printer about 10 years ago and its still works fine today, it would probably beat most printers out today. But that is what you get for a $5000 printer( my parents used to own a business)
For oclor we just buy a printer and use it until the cartridge runs out and then buy a new one since a new printer is usaully the same price
