This game is going to be SOOOO MUCH BETTER than GT4... The Reason??
XBOX LIVE!!
GT4 has NO network online gameplay... cant play people online, which for me is a MUST with games today.. without recent games like Halo2 w/Xbox Live, I wouldnt even be playing games. At 3am its fun to turn on your xbox and know 100,000 people are also playing. Playing a video game at 3am (single player/by yourself) is pretty depressing.
Forza Motorsport on Xbox Live is going to be so awesome... At all hours of the night you'll be able to join Hundreds of races, and I think I read up to 16 cars on some tracks.

Actually, I must agree with you on the way the cars look and the reflections... GT4 does look better in that area, but Forza is better in the scenery/track area.

Awesome! Then I retract my statement that I made several posts up about GT4 being superior in graphics...while GT4's graphics have nice bold colors and everything is crisp and clean, Forza's is deffinitely more realistic...those comparo shots from those links above threw me off because they said forza vs. gt4 and it should've been the other way around...

They have been very strategic with it too...
US release dates:
GT4: March
Forza: February
UK release dates:
GT4: 25th February
Forza: 25th February
Also, on both the US and UK Amazon sales ranks, Forza is miles down from GT4, although it comes out at either the same time, or a month before. I also have to say that people have been able to pre-order GT4 since around June 2003, so...

yea, GT4's graphics do look somewhat more realistic...more details and better texturing...I would expect GT4's graphics to be better than forza's anyways even with the final release, but I think Forza will be the overall better game...

forza sounds better and the textures and surroundings look much more realistic by far than GT4, but GT4 has much better texturing and rendering on the cars...the reflections transition much smoother like when going underneath a sign or something than they do for forza///forza's are a bit choppy, gt4's wheels look better spinning too...forza's are too flat...gt4's cars look much better overall...frankly that, the fact that it has like 20 more circuits (I think) and several hundred more pointless cars is really the only thing GT4 has over forza...from what I can see at the moment...I believe forza will be overall a better game...but we'll see once it comes out...I cant wait...whats the ETA?

Im gonna stick with GT4.

This looks good, but lacks the small details in the track IMO.

Im not really a big fan on microsoft, but this looks pretty cool. so it forza motor sport a <i>direct<i> compeditor to GT4?

Also, Forza offers unparalled customization of the cars. Theres like 10000 different layers on the car to which you can do stuff. I also believe that there's a damage engine for the cars.
