Episode 7 is out and about, this series just gets better and better.

The attention to detail is striking for a TV series and from what many fans have said it's true to the originals.

I love the opening theme, it's one of those I can watch everytime and love it just the same and not bother skipping it.

I sort of huffed and puffed over the melting of gold in a pot that was previously holding food over a cooking fire, and almost instantly no less, but that was still pretty awesome.

The gold smelting was indeed rather quick and obviously unrealistic, but yeah who cares, seeing Viserys get his much wanted golden crown whilst also seeing Daenerys finally taking control of her own destiny was totally worth the price of admission.

I thought that was just me being weird! I love the opening, really getting into the story now too.

So quick question to those of you who have read the book.
Looking at how much of the story each episode covers is it possible to get a rough idea as to how many episodes there are going to be in the current series?

Er.... Ned. [surrender]
Did they use his own sword against him? How unfortunate.

The good news is, if you think this is good just wait for when they start books 2-3. Just don't get attached to anyone, as they mostly just die on you.

Long live the imp!

I haven't read the books so I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what happens next! [surrender]

I was sitting there just waiting for some Ned Stark sympathizers to come in at the last second, Hollywood style, and save him from the chop, they would somehow escape the city and Ned gets to live and fight another day.

But...

What a great episode, I'm glad I don't know what's going to happen next. It appears everyone is vulnerable now having killed off my favorite character.

How i wish i could say the same, unfortunately a friend of mine that got me into watching the series (who has read the books extensively) told me a huge HUGE spoiler (we were drinking at the time and he turned all chatty about the book)

SPOILER:
The show where everyone dies, no matter how important their role.

[no]

Change that "r" to a "C" and you have what I think of him... yeah, perfect casting... he looks inbreed fitting perfect and he's a good/bad actor if you know what I mean... you hate him, therefore he must be good [thumbup]

He's like that actor who played tooms in X-Files and in the Green Mile... in the green mile, you hated him, but christ what a good piece of acting

Only just seen Mondays episode since I have been working since Monday night. All I have to say is
W
T
F

I can't believe what I saw. More to the point I can not believe that next week is the last episode. How?! I feel like it could keep going for weeks yet. Either way I am really looking forward to this Monday. I need to know what happens.

Another amazing episode. This show is getting better and better.

Love The Imp - brilliant character and great acting.

Loved it last night when he gave his rallying war cry to his band of tribes who promptly ran straight over the top of him [thumbup]

Quality.
