I always hated Nicolas Cage, until I learned to take him as seriously as he takes himself, not at all. Since then I've been able to amuse myself about several of his roles.
This is the answer you've been looking for about Nicolas Cage:

I watched this after seeing this post.
I warned you not to! [no]

And yeah the original movie was brilliant.

No Country for Old Men.
Thing is it wasn't done as well in the movie as in the book. Cormac McCarthy is quite big on endings left open for interpretation in his books much like Stanley Kubrick always left you with more questions than answers. I love the ambiguous ending, No Country for Old Men.

Tend to agree on The Village.

Paranormal Activity 3.

I watched it last night (not my choice). What a PoS!

American Psycho - Great film ruined by an ambiguous ending that if you've not read the book suggests everything was in his mind.
The book's ending is ambiguous as well, it doesn't show definitely whether the killings actually happened or if they are constructs of a delusional mind.
