I agree, it's obvious Steps reunion is far more significant.

Gig for 30,000 people at Spike Island, opposite a cement factory on the banks of the River Mersey, in 1990. As legendary for the drug intake of the audience as the performance. I was there http://www.chaturmind.com/Smileys//msn/cool.gif

I weep at the fact that The Stone Roses will have a chance at ruining an otherwise great band.

The Stooges broke my heart in 2007 when they released that new album.

I'm excited it's unreal.

One of my favourite bands of all time are reuniting.

Such a massive influence on me when I was younger, one of the greatest début albums of all time.

The songs, the music, the fashion, everything about that period of my life being brought back together is overwhelming.

I LOVE YOU STEPS!!! I LOVE YOU H!!

The sad thing is my wife has already bought tickets to see Steps, and she was more excited about them getting back together than the Stone Roses [thumbdown]

BegeMoT 10-21-2011 08:21 PM

Guess who's going to see them again?[thumbup]

It just wouldn't be the same without the, ahem, you know what. [rofl] If i went i'd have to try and get a pair of Boaters, some baggy canvas pants and a flowery shirt. Or a shell suit. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/blink1.gif

220,000 tickets within 68 minutes of booking lines opening.

Elisabetxxx 10-22-2011 03:24 AM

I have no idea who either of those bands arehttp://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/blink1.gif

I'm guessing they were before my time (born 1989).

BegeMoT 10-22-2011 03:57 AM

You're forgiven, Australians know nothing of music.

I like some old school songs such as ACDC, Men At Work: Down Under, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin just to name a few.

Guess our taste in music is different?
