I think it's much more worthwhile to realize that our friendship is far more important that whatever retarded "trump" cards either nation can play.
What IS important: Together, the UK and US have the two most advanced and experienced military forces in the world (Israel likely being the next in line and we are obviously friendly with Israel). Together the above three countries have the most far reaching and effective intelligence organizations. So who cares which nation has better food or music? We're all in the same gang, so it's cool. Lets forget the nationalism and gaze to the East where people look very different and speak queer languages. Their different religions, philosophies, and systems of government are what we should be making fun of. So join me in condemning and offending those who differ from us, instead of pointing out why the the Spice Girls are worse than Lady Gaga. Know your enemy. |

I'm sorry but this is completely wrong. Our legal system is based largely on English common law. The people revolting against the British were/descendants of English colonists. You are aware that the original 13 colonies were all English. Perhaps you meant that the US of today would not have been possible without the involvement of the French navy when they helped force the British surrender at Yorktown. |

Actually.... You've certainly dwarfed and stupefied the English language. I'm going to let Sparafucil take care of this one. |
