Default Steve Jobs in a wheelchair?
Such a sad picture to see. He looks very ill indeed. I do not think he will make to the end of the year based on this.

What's hideous is that we live in a world where taking long distance shots of a dying cancer patient is acceptable. Yeah he's one of the most powerful men in the world, but at some points in your existence, no matter who you are, you deserve dignity.

Lazerbase, soon you arent going to be able to go anywhere without having your picture taken. Blame society for being complacent with this.

I'm not a huge Apple fan (two iPods in the house), but I really admire what he has accomplished in his life. As much as I wish he would have another 30 years ahead of him, I'm thankful for his contribution over the past 30 years.

Sad to see that ppl who actually contribute to society are in such bad health, the man has helped advance out technological lives....he sure will leave his mark on history. May he die without pain.

and this is why I will always like you. You, you are a human.

We as people should have some kind of common dignity and not be a part of this kind of crap.

I disagree, I think some people do not deserve a shred of dignity. This is different, mocking this man right now would be the ultimate loser nerd move, to disrespect a dying man for fanboy reasons is totally lame.

Everything you say has an undertone of jealousy, bitterness or general chip-on-shoulderness. Why?

Incidentally, how much of your salary do you plough into cancer research? Because if the money he earned should be contributed then yours should be as well.

I shall rephrase that....

I wonder how much apple have invested in cancer research.

as in " the wellcome trust" or the "Microsoft trust"

but seeing as you guys got me thinking I wonder how much he did in fact spend to keep him self alive.

because obviously he must have paid out for the best treatments to keep himself going, because hes been ill for a very long time

Sadly it is. Obviously this is why he stepped down a few weeks ago.

I don't blame society for the natural compulsion to document things. I do however blame the media for using images like this to sell magazines. We all know he's dying. Do we need to see photos of him in a decimated condition on a magazine spread to boost sales? Just seems very wrong to me.

My question is are these recent or are they from awhile back when we all know he was very sick. Stuff like this has happened before where they release old pics as new.
