Default free sim card in the USA?
Who is the best network to get an pre-pay iPad2 microsim from in the USA? I need it to work in Denver and Las Vegas and I can have it shipped to a friend in Denver in advance.

I would imagine you would have to contact a carrier direct for that. I haven't (personally) seen any retailer carry just a sim card.

You could grab this and should be able to drop it in your iPad then pay for one month of service. The activation should be able to be done all via the iPad's settings.

I have AT&T on my cell and have used them in CO and NV quite a bit and the coverage has been fine.

When in doubt:

Do those coverage checkers actually work over there? Here they generally have no correlation to how the network actually performs in a given area.

When it comes to the cities and what not they are pretty much accurate, but as for out in the country area's where they claim coverage, i wouldn't hold your breath on them being 100% accurate.

Seconded.

I can personally attest to the fact that AT&T Wireless coverage works well in the greater Las Vegas and Denver areas.

If you'd had the balls to keep your eyes open you'd have got a great view. As a coaster it's not that good though, but it's something you have to do at least once.

I think you're missing the point of Vegas a bit.

Pfft no. I was just mentioning that the coaster was kind of lame. Don't read into it so much.

Yeh it's not great, but it's still a coaster that is built around a hotel. Vegas is just a surreal place.

Shouldn't you be busy trying to return some over-priced electronics you've decided you don't like?
