Default News of the World to close amid hacking scandal.
Wow, despite all the bad press I did not see that coming! Guess Murdoch is desperate to save his BSkyB bid.

It'll be back under some other guise no doubt. Still not that surprising after what's happened the last 24 hours or so. Once the big advertising started pulling out I suppose it's curtains.

There are talks that The Sun will go 7 days a week.

head that too.
I suspect Murdock didn't give a damn what they did, as long as they brought in the money - now he's being all puritanical and dumping it to look good.
Not very nice when the rank and file workers are getting unemployed and the actual culprits are barely penalised - I'm hoping the Police lay some substantial charges and they do some stir - they can then be interviewed for the Sun, which I also heard was going 7 days a week.

Trashy paper anyway with no real news in it, so it won't be missed. Like the Sun and Star, all the red tops are garbage anyway unless you're just a chav or someone who loves football... you want to know about what;s going on in the world, buy teh Guiardian/Telegraph...

However, disgusting what they have done and they better still be prosecuted if so.

Advising people to read the guardian is nearly as ridiculous as advising them to read the sun.

I quite enjoy reading the sun for entertainment value, just have to remember to check a credible source for news after.

The Sun is in my opinion, the best of the red top papers. It's purely for entertainment while having lunch at work or something. For news we have TV and Internet.

Don't lie. You both read it for the page 3 titties and celebrity nip slips. Obviously.

Technically that's not reading. But what I 'read' during my lunch is purely up to me. Sometimes I browse FM, so I'm reading a load of shite either way.

Suit yourself, that's the only reason i ever read, sorry, look at it. A nice pair of baps never fails to bring a smile to my face, no matter how shitty a day you're having. [rofl]
